Altra Arrows Ink Levi Morgan to Pro Staff
Levi-Morgan
Levi Morgan grew up in the small town of Rosman, NC, where hunting and fishing were the Morgan households’ main hobbies and past times. Levi began shooting in local archery tournaments around the age of five thanks to his father’s nudge. When Levi began winning all his local shoots, his father felt he was ready for bigger stages. At the age of six, Levi took first runner up in his division and fell in love with the sport even more. He grew up in the ASA and IBO tournament world and won most competitions that he entered as an amateur.
In the tournament off season, Levi perfected his skills in the woods. Through high school he played basketball and baseball, but knew his heart was with archery – so he turned down full rides in each to pursue his passion.
Levi competed as a pro for the first time in 2006 – and while he didn’t land atop the podium that breakout year, he did win the heart of his now wife Samantha, and secured Rookie of the Year. A year later in 2007, he earned his first professional win, plus the title of Shooter of the Year – a title he held for 13 straight years. On top of those accolades, Levi is a 12-time IBO triple crown champion and 16-time world champion – plus he has held over 140 podium finishes in his tenure.
In 2008, Levi and Samantha launched Bow Life, their outdoor television show, which showcases their growing family’s love of the outdoors, both here in the US and abroad.
Looking back at the once 18-year-old who threw scholarships away to chase an archery career, to being one of the most decorated archers in the world, Levi has made and continues to make his mark on the industry, inspiring millions to pursue their passions.
Through the years, Levi has partnered with world class manufacturers that offer the best equipment to help him achieve his goals. Levi joined Altra Arrows in 2024 (The Outdoor Wire).
“The consistency and dependability of Altra Arrows, along with the enormous potential for growth were the deciding factors when making the move from my previous arrow company – a decision that I did not take lightly but had great confidence in,” said Morgan. “It was time to make a change and I know from experience that I have to shoot the best or I’m not setting myself up for success – there is no question that Altra Arrows will move the needle and I’m already super impressed with how the platform is performing for me.”
He intends to shoot Altra Arrows’ Centrum Premier 27 for the tournament season, and in parallel, he plans to outfit his hunting rig with the Centrum Premier 166.
